The Process

Sessions at The Gold Dust Studio are completely tailored to YOU. No two sessions are the same. I know this is a new experience for most and I am always available via call, text and email. Let's set up a complimentary phone consultation to chat more about how sessions work!

Q. I'm not sure if I want an album, can I see my photos and then decide?

A. YES! You don't need to decide on products until the day of your session. You will see all of your photos the day of your session (yay!) and you'll also be able to see all the different products I offer.

Q. Will you post my photos?

A. Not unless you want me to! When you book your session you're able to decide if you want to sign an full release, anonymous release (any image without your face) or no release.

Q. I'm older than the women you post, can I still book a shoot?

A. I hate that anyone even thinks about this! In the years I've been shooting boudoir I've worked with people from their 20s into their 70s! Every week I meet people in the studio of all different shapes, sizes, ethnicities, sexual orientation and gender identity. Everyone is welcome in the space. And it is my job to make this space safe and to show you are beautiful you are.

Q. I'm doing this for a gift for my wedding. When should I book?

A. I like to suggest we pick a session date a minimum of 6 weeks prior to your deadline. This leaves enough time for production and delivery of your products.

Q. Do you provide outfits or do I bring my own lingerie?

A. You will be bringing your own outfits. When I first opened this studio I had a full lingerie closet I quickly learned that lingerie is an incredibly personal item! The fit and style is something that you should know before walking in the studio. And what if I didn't have a piece that you like! But don't worry! When you book I send you my Session Guide which is pages and pages of suggestions as well as my favorite places to shop (even my Amazon list!)

Q. I have cellulite and acne. Do you do skin editing?

A. I definitely do skin editing! What I will not do is take out anything permanent (scars/tattoos) or body altering.
